Hi sdseagles. Here's what Audi's lease program on this car looks like right now. You never mentioned how long you want to lease for or what mileage allowance you need, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different.

Audi Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Audi A4 3.2 Cabriolet with 15,000 miles per year are .00098 and 52%, respectively.

A4 Lease & Security Deposit by josulli

We have been shopping for an A4 premium package, syphony, heated seats & 12,000 m/year for 36 months. Our best quote is $494/month. This includes taxes and all other charges except for the security deposit. This dealer has told us we must pay the security payment up front. We have not heard that from the other dealers. In addition, some of the other dealers have said it may be possible to have the security deposit waived.
What is the real story with the security deposit?
Does this sound like a good deal?
What kind of changes are coming next month?

I just leased an A4 2.0 premium with bluetooth, syphony, 12K miles yr/36 months for $425 a month with tax, $2K down (including drive off - everything). If you add the 2K into 36 months it comes out to be $17,300 total money paid for the lease. I saw other leases for about $17,200 (lowest) and $17,280 over the course of 36 months. My dealer started really high, but as you walk out they were more negotiable. Hope that helps.

terms in question are for 36, 39 and 42 months for a renewing afs customer. dealer had said mf for 36 and 39 was .00167 and 42 was .00187 and then on another call said the 39 and 42 were .00187. the residuals quoted were 59, 57 and 55 respectively which seem to be correct. the car is a base premium avant model. thanks

Thank you. That's EXACTLY what I was looking for. Is there any way to know if there is an expected change in those figures for November. Also, is it still best to negotiate with the dealer at the end of the month, as opposed to the beginning? Thanks again for all your help!!

sedeagles, i am going to post a quote from another board by an audi salesman: "Audi leases get a total revamp next month, Acq fee goes to $625 and leasing goes to tiers as does financing through AFS."

residuals tend to drop during the year but mf may also. current lease rates were established before a lot of the recent financial melt down. not sure how aggressive finance companies can or will be in novemember

So what does a 'total revamp' mean? Better or worse for the consumer, considering the economy? Is that $625 higher or lower than it was? And is that negotiable?

I don't want to rush to a decision, but if it pays to negotiate a deal before the end of the month, I would consider it. Thanks again for all your help

current fee is 575. if you are in a top tier it could be better by vkj

but my guess given the credit crisis, it is not likely to be better. i can ask for more details.

Here you go, vkj. Audi Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Audi A4 Avant Premium with 15,000 miles per year are .00167 and 56%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00187 and 54%.

You're very welcome, sdseagles. I'm glad that you found my post helpful. Audi's October lease program is scheduled to run though November 4th. It is difficult to say what its November lease program will be like at this point.

All things being equal, it is probably better to negotiate your lease at the end of the month rather than at the beginning.
