There is a $1,000 manufacturer cash incentive on the car the dealer is applying to the lease. $2,000 is my total out of pocket. There is no additional down payment on the car or security deposit. This is my first time leasing an Audi so I wasn't sure if I was getting a good deal or not. Our other car is a 2006 Volvo S40 T5 AWD with all the options at the time except navigation. I believe it ran around the same MSRP.
Our payments are $387 a month but this was using Chase auto finance and qualifying for the Ford A-plan due to a family member working for Volvo.

***Correction: In totaling up the basic fees and subtracting them from the $2000, The dealership is putting the remainder $600-$650 as a reduction.
In consideration of the numbers, is $400 a good lease price? $400 includes taxes and audi care.
#1776 of 4423 lease new or not
Apr 03, 2008 (4:42 pm)
I have a 2007 A4 and my lease is up in September. It looks like the new 2.0Ts won't be out for a while, so I was just considering re-leasing my car for another year or two. Is this a bad idea? I know that they subsidize leases on the new cars, so will a lease on my two year old car be a terrible deal and I may as well lease a new one, or will I actually have a lower payment than on a comparable A4, but new. I wonder if the deals on the outgoing model will be really good at that time?
#1777 of 4423 A4 Wagon lease

I live in New England and I'm looking to lease an A4 Wagon. Can anyone tell me what the money factor and residual is on this car based on a 36 month, 12,000 mile per year lease? With an MSRP around $37,000, I would like to get the payment in the mid $400s (including the 7% Rhode Island sales tax) with only about $1,000 due at signing. Am I dreaming? And will I get it at $500 over invoice?
Any help would be great.

I should have mentioned that it is Quattro and has heated seats.
NJ 7% sales tax
A4 2.0T Cabriolet Quattro, Premium Pkg, Walnut trim, iPod, heated seats
$1,642 (inceptions, in NJ includes 3 years registration ~$475)
$622.98 (includes sales tax)
The dealer also mentioned adding maintenance to the lease for an additional $6 per month. What are your thought on that?

#1782 of 4423 A-4 Cabriolet lease
Apr 07, 2008 (7:46 pm)
My lease for my A-4 ends this month so I am in the market again. I was originally not going to get another A-4 but it seems that the lease is now very favorable, so I am reconsidering. Can you please provide me the "FACTS" on a lease in the South FL area for an 08 Conv. with FWD in South FL , as I have seen a few different numbers here.
1. I have seen MF at .00025, .00052, and .00048 so the real bottom money factor is (assuming one qualifies)???
2. the residual with 10,000 and 12,000 miles annual. (54% & 55%)
3. I also have heard that if you take the Audi Maintanance program for $650 it will increase the residual by 1%.
4, I have seen some posts with sale price under Invoice, is that reliable?
#1783 of 4423 Question about money factor
Apr 09, 2008 (3:32 pm)
Have a question about money factor, which was something I didn't understand at all before finding this great site.
I was given a money factor of .00055 for an A4 lease in Oakland. Been poking around this site and saw some lower ones listed. Should I angle for a lower one? Will that make much of a difference in the monthly?
Here's the details:
2008 Audi A4 Quattro, Auto, premium, bluetooth
money factor: .00055
Monthly (with tax): $366.85
I recall the price quoted was $500 over invoice, but I don't have that on my sheet.
