I will be looking for a new lease soon. I really need to test drive a TSX! Though I would lease one without doing so.

I came from BMW so the lack of steering feedback on the TSX was a huge turn-off but saving $100+ a month is a huge turn on! I agree though that regardless of the test drive, the reviews and price had me sold before test driving. |

I'm in Massachusetts and was offered this deal today for a 2009 TSX w/ Tech package Term: 36m/12k per year Monthly Payment: $395 w/ taxes included Due at inception: $1200 Does this sound like a fair deal at all? I'm starting to think it might make sense to wait for the 2010's. Any thoughts on this?

I decided to take a lease on a silver 09 tsx base model, manual transmission, ebony interior 12k/36 mo 1850 down incl. 1st month and taxes 339 a month I'm content. By the way, if youre trying to get an 09 base model in the ny area, dont bother. Theyre ripping people off cuz every dealer has at most 1 car. Theyre holding it for the guy who has sucker written on his forehead (or they guy willing to outbid that guy). |

I need some help in determining a correct lease payment. This is for a TSX base model and the prices are at the bottom. First is the negotiated price good. I know they have a $750 dealer cash. The invoice of the car after advertising fees is about $27600 (little less). Should I try to go lower? I used an online lease calculator http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm . This basically does every calculation for me but I have a couple of questions. I live in Texas and sales tax is 6.25% but I was told by one of the dealers that for some reason the rate is 1.2% or so does anyone know why. Also I am doing a trade in and I was told they would give me $17,500 and I owe $19,000. Yes I know I am taking a loss but trust me for good personal reason I don’t want my current car. So for the tax credit for trade in I should get 6.25% back right which would actually only add $500 from my previous loan to the negotiated price. Again what is the deal with the 1.2% tax and not 6.25% is this a thing only for leases in texas because they gave me an OTD price for this car and they were charging 6.25% tax. The numbers I got by using the 6.25% tax in the website mentioned was of $366.29 without acquisition fees or doc fees which would be about $850 (doc fees are about 250 and acquisition fee about $600). Also I have very good credit is it true that I can only get the money factor of .00198 for the lease. I am a recent college graduate and they told me the program would not benefit me in reducing anything. I think its all BS is someone familiar with the program. Could someone be kind enough to check my numbers and see if the can find the deal with the 1.2% tax because I searched the net I didn’t find anything. Thanks a lot MSRP: $29,920 Negotiated Price: $27,000 Money factor: 0.00198

No the trade in is a Honda accord. Although it wouldn’t affect me I am just wondering would there be more benefits for GM owners. Most dealers are unwilling to give me more for it because they say you can get it new for about $18500. Although it is true that people can get that price not everyone reads Edmunds or other forums and most people pay more than that for an accord lx. With the trade in I will get a little more than $1000 as tax credit so I shouldn’t pay all the taxes on the other car. Apparently I will be $1500 upside down on the car but with the tax credit that brings the total down and it would seem as if I am only $500 upside down. Plus this is the trade in I got from one dealer I am sure that I can either negotiate a better sale price on the tsx or get a better trade in value from the other dealers once they start to compete for my business. Don’t get me wrong guys I loved my accord but there is other reasons I want to trade in but no point in getting into the details. Has any one been able to find out if there is actually a lower tax on the leases than my regular 6.25% vehicle tax in texas. I have read that the 2010 v6 tsx will be out probably june or july. So will this be just the v6 or also the v4. if both are out then is it possible to get a better deal than invoice plus the $750 cash to dealer Thanks a lot for the help. |

Hey everyone, New to the forums, but I have been lurking for a few months taking in all the info. I just got a 09 TSX w/Tech with 15K miles/year. Here are the numbers: MSRP: $33,020 Selling Price: $29,000 Residual: 56% MF: .00198 Acq. Fee: $595 Monthly Payment: $404 + Tax Drive Off: $779 including first month/Reg/Misc. Fees Got my TSX at DCH Tustin Acura. For anyone in SoCal, these guys are AWESOME! I'm not sure if I can refer my Sales guy, but if I can, I will.
