Keep in mind though that the monthly payment for a two year lease will be significantly higher than it will be for a three year lease.   Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a base 2009 Acura TL with 15,000 miles per year are .00220 and 65%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier. When you say that you'll need 25,000 miles, I assume that you mean per year and not total over the life of your lease. Is that correct? If you do need to drive that much, you will have to purchase additional miles from Honda Finance on a per-mile basis. Acura is providing $2,000 dealer cash on top of that, so there is a total of a little over $5,000 to play with during your negotiations. You were quoted a discount of $3,222 that you were quoted is still more than $1,700 over invoice. I suspect that you can do better than that. I am looking to lease a 2009 Acura TL 4D Sedan - 6 cyl.   The dealer gave me a copy of the LeaseScan for Windows with the following numbers:   MSRP = 35715 Selling Price = 31895 Residual = 21,786 36 month lease - 10K miles per year $875 down payment + first month payment = $1400.   Monthly payment is $417.89   Is this a good deal? How do I know?

I just got these numbers for a base 09 TL:   $700 due at signing (first payment + tax + tag) $399 month x 36 months (plus tax). 10K miles a year (i dont drive much).   Got a residual of 61% and I did not ask for more numbers as I was not going to buy yet. The numbers look promising. I will play around with Excel to find out the estimated selling price and money factor (based on invoice minus $1,000 cash to dealer for selling price).   Car_man, what do you think?
