John,

Rob's numbers are good, best price I've got so far on the TL-Tech is $35,316.00, where you are getting screwed is the down, or drive off, that should only be the first months $449+tax+registration= around $800.00 total drive off. I don't know how much you drive but Rob is figuring 15,000 per year thats why his payment is alittle higher. As long as I am here CARMAN what is the current money factor, and res.with 15000 miles, on the TL Base, and Tech, is it still 0.00250?

Wrong- the MSRP is a factor in a lease calculation. The residual is based off the MSRP and not the Capitalized cost.Thats the bad part in lease calculations because they combine the residual cost and the cap cost then multipy that number by the money factor to figure out the interest.

Let me ask a question what changes from dealer to dealer? Cap Cost, not residual value, that is set by Honda Finance, yes it is based on the MSRP, but again that will not change from dealer A, to Dealer B, what you can change as a consumer is the cap cost with on money down. His price will never change if he is quoted MSRP, what changes his monthly payment drastically is the cap cost, and obviously money factor, that was my point, NITPICKER

Hi 540dude. Here's the information that you are looking for. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a base 2009 Acura TL with 12,000 miles per year are .00250 and 59%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its "Super Preferred" credit tier.

When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $500 dealer cash that is currently available on it.

Here's the information that you're looking for, amy9. Honda Finance's February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Acura TL AWD with the Tech Package and 15,000 miles per year are .00250 and 56%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its "Super Preferred" credit tier.

If you want, you can shave a little off of this car's monthly payment by stretching out your lease to 39 months. The money factor for that term is the same, but its residual value is 1% lower.

Yes, the $1,000 dealer cash is still available on the TL Tech. If I was in the market for an '09 TL right now, I personally would shoot for a selling price that's very close to dealer invoice minus the available dealer cash.

You're very welcome, bentdoc. Thanks for the kind words. You never mentioned the selling price of the car that you are interested in. To me, this is the most important number to know when leasing. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. The closer to dealer invoice minus any available cash incentives (in this case $1,000) you are, the better the deal you are getting. Let us know what this car's selling price is and I'm sure that either myself or another knowledgeable community member will gladly give you their opinion.

2009 TL SH-AWD by delgardo

Hi I'm having a problem getting a good lease deal on a 09 Tl Sh-AWD with tech pk.

The biggest problem that I have is that I can't find a dealer here in NJ that has this model in a Palladium color with taupe interior. Does any one know of a dealer in the tri state area that has this car on there lot? I got a lease number on this car $569.00 12k 39 months with $2500 total out of pocket. The dealer wont tell me the cost of the car, so I dont know if this is the best possible deal. The dealer also doesn't have the car in stock.

I'm thinking of maybe waiting until after March 2, 2009 for the new lease programs. Do you think that there will be better deals to be had?

I'm also interested in the TL ShAWD with Tech. Can you give the breakdown of the out of pocket expenses? Where is the tax? in the payment of $569 or in the $2500?
My current Lexus RX350 lease is up June 1--so I'm waiting on a good deal on a AWD sedan. From what I've seen so far Benz E350 has great leases-but I need the bulletproof reliability of Acura. Can other lessees of TL AWD pls post their deals.
I would lease immediately for the right deal.

You may want to do what I did - go with a lease broker.

The one I used was in NJ, he has access to various tristate dealers, he found what I wanted (TL Tech, Polished metal/ ebony interior), matched my best price and had it in my driveway in 24 hours.

He got it from a dealer in Middletown, NY , BTW.
