Has anyone put together a lease yet on the new TL. The Acura website has offered this featured lease and I was looking for input on either it or any other leases out there. I am looking for a lease with the tech package specifically.
Thanks

Get rid of the downpayment. $20-30 per $1,000 is subtracted from the lease payment when putting money down. Add nearly $100 to the payment, and you have a $0 down deal, Get the tech package lease payment, still add $100 to the payment. It is a standard lease, nothing special. The down payment is a way to make your eye go right to the attractive payment. Now, if this is worth you putting down that much money that does not go to the principal of the lease, only to lower the payment. Then, go for it! Some people will, but get rid of that downpayment, and you will see the true deal. It looks even more strict, notice the low mileage of 10k miles per year.

The new TL just arrived, they will not offer anything reasonable for awhile. When the new Accord arrived, the prices were insane! Now, you can get one for a pretty good deal! If you want one now, cool, but realize at the middle of your lease, everyone else won't being paying as bad as you did.

But, if I wanted a car bad enough, I would do it...lol

No calculation necessary. If you look above at the lease deal, it mentions "option to purchase at lease end $23,571.90" That is the residual value on that particular car.

It is funny seek, because in August my lowest quote including NJ taxes in the pmt was $448; 36 month, 10k no money dow. But that was when the money factor was 0.00133 (3.19%), right now the lowest quote I've received was $505, the cap cost of the car was pretty good at $31,685, but the money factor is a deal breaker for me at 0.0028 (almost 7%). I live in NJ (Tri-State area). and there are still some dealers with plenty of inventory of TL-S, but Acura is not supporting leases on the remainding 08s. Sad, but I will have to start looking somewhere else.

If i was buying, I could get a sweet deal. But, hey, who knows maybe the will lower the cap cost of the car even more comes November :>)

Happy hunt

I know what you mean rjorge3. Up here in the boston area the dealerships have a lot of inventory left, but i think they are trying to make those leases unattractive compared to the 09 so as not to canabalize the newer inventory. I will say a cap cost of 31.7 for the type s is a great deal, i too am not looking to buy though. Oh well, good luck to you. I am hoping that they have a surplus of inventory at year end for the 08's and really just push to get them off the lots.

Best of luck!

Hi gholaglider. The dealer invoice price of a base 2008 Acura TL without navigation is $31,768. When we subtract the $3,500 dealer cash that is available on this car right now from that, we arrive at $28,268. The selling price that you were quoted is even lower than that, so this looks like an excellent deal. Just make sure that the dealer that you are working with uses Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor of .00270 (for "Super Preferred" tier customers who pay a security deposit) to calculate your monthly payment and you're all set.

Hi chuckjr. Here's the new lease program for the car that you're interested in. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2009 Acura TL with 12,000 miles per year are .00270 and 65%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its "Super Preferred" credit tier and pay a security deposit at lease signing. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of an '08 model are .00270 and 52%.
