Hi maries15. The dealer invoice price for a base 2008 Acura MDX is $37,229. Your MDX's selling price of $36,785 is more than $400 below invoice, which is an excellent deal. The problem is that when I calculate a lease payment on this truck using the prices that you mentioned in your post, I come up with a zero down, pre-tax monthly payment of around $488. Obviously sales tax will add some to this, but not a whole $60 per month. I wonder why? Even so, this truck's monthly payment is not bad, it's just not what it should be given the low selling price that you mentioned.

Here's the information that you're looking for, court123. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2008 Acura MDX with 15,000 miles per year are .00197 and 56%, respectively.

Hi caseydog1. A four year lease of an MDX really doesn't make much sense right now because Acura's special lease program on it is only available for a maximum of 36 months. If you lease for longer than that, you will have to pay a higher interest rate.

Hi s4lvr1. The money factor that you were told by that dealer is way off. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor for the 2008 Acura MDX is .00197 for consumers who qualify for Honda Finance's "Super Preferred" credit tier and pay a security deposit at lease signing.
