Hi gvitalik1. Let's take a look at the deal that you were offered. The money factor that you were quoted is right in line with Honda Finance's January buy rate for this model. That is a good sign because it means that the dealer isn't trying to make any hidden, back-end profit on your deal by marking your truck's money factor up.
The other main profit center for dealers on leases is the selling price. The dealer invoice price of a base 2009 MDX is $37,830. If one subtracts the $2,000 dealer cash that Acura is providing on this model from that, it comes to around $35,830. The selling price that you were quoted is even lower than that, so it is an excellent deal.
If you like the MDX, I personally don't see any reason not to pull the trigger on this deal.

Hi fieldse. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2009 Acura MDX with the Tech Package and 10,000 miles per year are .00250 and 50%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.
When negotiating your lease on this truck, make sure to take the $2,000 dealer cash that Acura is currently providing on it into account. It will help you to negotiate an attractive capitalized cost.

Hi egold1. Acura's January lease program for the 2009 MDX is scheduled to run through March 2nd. It is always very difficult to predict exactly what manufacturers will do with their future incentives, but I personally don't think that you have anything to lose by waiting. If anything, Acura's program on the MDX will get better...not worse. Most likely it will be exactly the same next month as it is now though.

Hello tan47. Unless your credit is not in good shape, the money factor that you were quoted is too high. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor for the 2009 Acura MDX is only .00250. If you qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier and the dealer charges you more than that, they are marking your money factor up to add additional hidden, back-end profit to your deal. Make sure that the dealer uses the lowest possible factor to calculate your payment.
The selling price that you are being charged for this truck looks good. It appears to be around $300 over dealer invoice minus the available dealer cash.
Just get the whole money factor issue straightened out and you're in business.

I'm curious as well but I'm only looking for the tech package and would love to pay $500 per month for that in a lease.
