The final pay cash is what the dealer gets from Ford after Ford eliminates the rebates. Final pay amounts vary depending on vehicle. Rangers had $3,000 So it would appear you bought it for $65 over invoice after getting the final pay cash applied. What dealer did you buy it at? The one I found was in MA. Sunnyside is where it is at. Torch Red. Nothing wrong with that deal, BUT, you are not going to like this. You could get basically the same truck for about the same deal after the $2,000 rebate and $500 auto show cash. But this auto show cash is for my area. Incentives are regional. I just checked the zip code for the dealer in MA. For that area there is just the $2,000 rebate. The other thing is Ford has lowered MSRP on 07 VS 06. For example, the 06 that has an MSRP of $24,660. Base MSRP before any options is $24,025 The same truck on a 07 has a base MSRP of $21,915 The 07 I found has the same equipment as the 06 plus the rear jump seats which a $225 option. So total MSRP on the 07 is $23,775 Invoice $22,567 So for $65 over invoice you could buy the 07 for $20,632 after the $2,000 rebate. So for $572 more you could have gotten a 07 and that is with the extra $225 option for the rear jump seats. The biggest difference being the year difference. About $3,000 difference in depreciation with the 06 being a year older. If you plan to trade it within 3 - 4 years that would make a big difference. If you plan to drive it until the wheels fall off or at least keep it longer than 5 years then it doesn't make much of a difference.

Anyone yet definitively know what the cost of the KR option will be and what method will be used to order one? Thanks.

Here are pictures with the side scoops added. I added the upper and lower side scoops, added mirror covers and relocated the Shelby letters on the back across the center where there should be. link title |

They only plan make about $1,000. The concept seems to be the same as the Shelby GT. Take a brand new Shelby GT500 that just came down the line, ship it to Shelby's factory in Las Vegas to be fitted with some Ford Racing upgrades then ship to dealer for sale. My question is, will the number of GT500s that are available now get reduced by 1000? Mark |

Randy I read this and think of the 8-9000 08's there planning on building they will allow 1000 to be sent for the upgrade I think. I'm sure shelbydude might know the answer for sure. |

'Just bought a poster of the 2007 GT500 off of eBay. I asked the seller if she worked for Ford and here was her reply: "Hi, Well i guess you could say i do but, no...i'ts my husband, my dad and my father-in-law..ALL work for FORD. My husband and father-in-law are SALESMEN..my dad is an engineer and is presently closing down the Atlanta Plant." Regards, Julie What was made at the Atlanta Plant? I hope it isn't being moved to across the border somewhere.
