Hello,
Got dealer quote for a limited 5pass w/nav ,demo w/less than 3k mi, for
32k otd, msrp 36107. Sounds ok, however what would be a reasonable offer? Short time to make decision.

Thanks

3000 miles is quite a bit, I bet the warranty is affected and as the date it took effect. I'd expect a bigger discount.

Didn't someone just pay closer to $20 grand for a used 08 with 10k or so miles?

Hi Everyone, I'm considering buying an 06 Tribeca 5 passenger Limited with 19,000 miles. One owner, certified comes with extended power train warranty but not Gold. Purchase price would be 20,400 out the door? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks!

That was a $29-30k vehicle 2 years ago.

Your out-the-door price is a good one-third lower, so I'd say Yes.

We bought a brand new '09 special edition yesterday. Got what I think was a great deal on it. The car's msrp was $32,700, and we paid 26,900 even. The few options included other than the special edition package were, puddle lights, cargo cover and auto dimming mirror. We love the car. I'll keep posting our progress with it. My mom owns an '07 model, and I am the one that steered her towards it. So I am somewhat familiar with the vehicle already.

Mastercaster: I have been reading this forum for quite a long time but just registered for the first time to ask you where you bought your Tribeca SE. The $27K price is VERY reasonable. I am in NYC. Hopefully, the dealership you went to is close to me.

We live in Austin, TX. The dealer we dealt with was Roger Beasly Subaru in Georgetown, TX. They have 6 or 7 new Tribecas right now, and are discounting them all about the same.

Thank you, mastercaster. I can't buy from your dealer as there is a trade-in involved on my part, and so the distance makes this impracticable, but I would be interested in any ownership updates from you. Enjoy the car, indeed, by all accounts, it seems to be one of the best SUVs on the market from value/performance standpoint. I cant wait to buy my own. Again, thank you.
