Hi All, Anyone out there had any dealings with the Maine Subaru Dealers? I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences whether they be good, bad , or ugly. I'm doing some personal research so any help is appreciated.

I picked up my 7 psgr, limited with nav from fitzmall for 32,116, before taxes and fees, like 2 weeks ago. Their prices for September are all higher so maybe that's a good sign for Tribeca sales.

Indeed, August sales were up 33% over last year. Sales really are picking up.

2008 Tribeca 7 Psg Limited by googz

Hi there, not many posts in the last month, but wondering what sort of prices people are seeing on these nowadays. I've got a quote for a 2008 7 Passenger Limited for $30,900 OTD except for taxes. How is this compared to what others are getting? Fitzmall price for the same model/trim is about $30,500.

Fitzmall is generally a good gauge on what prices should hover Beating their price almost makes it a no brainer.

Be careful of "OTD" prices, especially when its OTD except for taxes. That's not OTD. If a salesman uses OTD and then says before taxes, its more opportunity for other things to be included in the tax without your knowledge. Its in the salesforce's best interest to blurry the line of what "Out The Door" means, tranlates to more room for tactics to mess the buyer.

Hello. Just posting my cost on a 2008 base 5 psg Tribeca (not limited edition). I drove it home today, what a great car! I paid $27,987 and the dealer added the roof rails and cross-bars at no cost. I paid another $590 to have a trailer hitch installed, bringing the total vehicle cost to $28,577. I paid $349 processing fee, 3% tax, and tags & titling fee. Total cost came to $29,918.13. Judging from what I've seen I feel pretty good about the deal and am real pleased with the car. I bought this Tribeca at Perry Subaru in Virginia Beach, Va. Good-luck and happy shopping!

Hi, Just bought my 08 from Chaplins Subaru in Bellevue, WA two weeks ago as a gift for my wife. They tried to sell me a 07 instead but was able to swing a 08 Limited with all options except for nav and dvd (didn't care) for only $80 more than my 05 Outback. Very impressed with their sales and service dept. as other dealers just tried to pull a fast one on me. We had a 405 mi road trip last week and avg 21.8 which I thought was very respectable for a vehicle of its size. The one thing I was not happy with is the color selections for interior. I wanted a grey interior with black exterior and you cannot get that combo. So we settled on the grey exterior, and to my surprise, it is a stricking vehicle. So far I have not seen another on the road, and I like it that way, being around here everyone has Acuras, when looking at the Acura dealership, I was wearing blue jeans and was treated like crap, or looked like I couldn't afford one, so their loss. We are now a 4 Subaru family and unless I need a pickup, I will never buy a American car again.
