New 2007 Tribecas are going for $6k+ below MSRP. This includes a $2750 rebate. You can also apply low rate financing on top of that.

2006 should be at least $8k-$9k below MSRP.

You could have gotten those prices 2 years ago. Obviously the dealer hasn't been able to sell them at that price, so he's gotta lower them!

Pretty simple, really.

I'm looking at the 2008 Tribeca limited with nav. Is there a dealer holdback on the car that I should consider when negotiating a rate?

Based on the prices I'm seeing on Fitzmall.com, there may be a holdback around $2000 now. They're advertising many '08s well below invoice, ranging from around $1100 under to around $2100 under, depending on model.

Thanks. I'm surprised it's so high already. Seems from the forums like there's interest in this car. Must not be moving on the lots, yet.

The exterior design of the previous models had a fair amount of bad press, and some complained of lack of "oomph" from the previous engine. It'll take a while for them to overcome those first impressions, I think.

Hi All, Anyone out there had any dealings with the Maine Subaru Dealers? I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences whether they be good, bad , or ugly. I'm doing some personal research so any help is appreciated.

I picked up my 7 psgr, limited with nav from fitzmall for 32,116, before taxes and fees, like 2 weeks ago. Their prices for September are all higher so maybe that's a good sign for Tribeca sales.

Indeed, August sales were up 33% over last year. Sales really are picking up.
