In addition to the current $2k consumer rebate, current incentives allow you to combine it with low finance rates, so your payment on a new one may actually be cheaper than used. Current factory-to-dealer incentives should be somewhere around $1500-$1800, so you should easily be able to get $3500 below invoice (including destination) plus low rates. You can view current Subaru finance rates & rebates here: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/rebates.html#rates Hope this helps. |

Currently there's 2 rebate availble: 1)$2,000 Customer Finance Cash on 07 TRIBECA 5-Passenger models 2)$2,000 Customer Cash on 07 TRIBECA 5-Passenger models, does that means should easily to get $4000 below invoice? Any additional factory-to-dealer incentives?

I own a Jeep now and after lots of comparing, I think the Tribeca is the vehicle for me. This will be my first leasing experience, and I just want to make sure I get the best deal I can. After reading some of the other buying/leasing discussions, some folks have really gotten some great deals! There is also a lot of car/leasing jargon being thrown around, so if someone can take me through the steps and the numbers (or point me to the specific conversations that spell it out), that would be super |

I noticed you asked about buying in US near the end of 2006 , and in late Janurary , you have one 5-seat limited ! How many time you spend on the paper work and have it registered in Ontario ? Did you follow the instructions in www.cars101.com ? I am in Richmond Hill too , very interested in buying one 7 seat . thanks ! |

We are looking at the 5-psgr Tribeca (Limited) w/ Nav..I am wondering what is a feasible discount to expect since it is a demo model at the dealer with 5000+ miles already on it. Is 10% off about right, or is that too much/too little? Any thoughts, experts out there? Thanks in advance- Heather O.

Replying to: jbeals (Mar 24, 2007 10:03 am) Do you know the '08 is debuting in a couple weeks at the New York auto show? They are revising the exterior styling and improving access to the third row, but the big change is the engine. It'll be a larger 6-cyl that will give it much more "oomph", removes the recommendation to use premium-grade gasoline, and still gets about 10% better mileage than the current engine. Better mileage+more power+cheaper fuel=WOW! A Subaru CEO also said prices for the '08 will stay the same and more content may be added. My suggestion would be to wait 'til official pictures are released, and if you like the new styling, hold out for the '08 when it goes on sale in June. You should still be able to purchase an '08 for at or near invoice, but not below invoice like the current models. Probably about $3000 difference from current discounts, I'd wager, but I think worth it. And the cheaper fuel & better mileage would help offset the cost over time. |
