The customer cash back on all 2007 Tribecas has increased to $2000 for the month of February. I'm excited, as the B9 I ordered in January has not come in yet, so the $2000 back will apply (rather than the $1250 that was in effect at the time I ordered). (I live in the Northeast, not sure if this $2000 is the same nationwide.)

Hi Tribeca Owners out there.. Iam planning on buying the 7 Seater Limited in a day or two.. Test drove the vehicle twice already, but the following question pop'd in my mind (after seeing the actual specs on the space). Iam 5'10 and tried sitting in the rear seat earlier with no problem.. But after looking at the Rear Head Room Specs on Consumer Reports, noticed that there is'nt enough head room space for the rear seats -- I do not remember noticing the space left out when i was sitting... Anyone has any comments / findings.. on this??

There may, however, be some great deals coming up on 2007s when the 08 Tribeca hits the market in a few months. Also, the 2006 2 yr. leases will be rolling into the dealerships soon. If you happen to go shopping at Rafferty Subaru in Newtown Square, PA (just west of Phila.), ask for Troy. I have no business or personal relation with him, I just think he did a great job and deserves a plug.

Remember my story about how I put in an order for my black 2007 Tribeca LTD in October and my husband picked it up in December and wrecked it? Well, I finally got it out of the body shop this past weekend! What an ordeal! This was the first time I have ever seen my car as I was out of town when my husband picked it up here in FL to drive it up to Atlanta to meet me at the airport with it. Well, he was with my mom in the car and they hit another car crashing the whole front end. The two of them were stuck in a small town in GA 3 hours from Atlanta and had to get my brother to drive down from there to pick them up. My husband had just picked up this car only 2 days before! Thank God for our sales rep (J.B.) at Eddie Acardi Suburu in Ft Lauderdale who helped them through this ordeal and got the car towed back from GA to a body shop in Ft Lauderdale. Well, the body shop got the car in January and has had it ever since. They did a great job, but Suburu took quite some time getting parts in. One last part took the longest and it was some pad between the hood and engine. It was out of stock until mid-March! We couldn't get the car until then. We contacted a customer svc rep at Suburu (I wish I knew his name) and they were so kind and took one off a car off the lot for us. They did not have to do this. I just love this car and I just LOVE the aftermarket Bluetooth phone system I had installed at the dealership. I can keep my hands on the wheel and talk on the phone. It's great and so much safer when I have to take a call with kids in the car. Today I tooked up a stereo cable for my IPOD and now I'm playing all my tunes in the car. But it's hard to compete with finally having the XM integrated in my car (my Lincoln Navigator had it added later). This car is so cute and it's so unusual down here where you just don't see these around. Kids also love the DVD but they were used to that from the other car. Took it to the dealer yesterday because the auto-start button isn't working. They ordered a new motor for it and checked my brakes for me as I was concerned after the wreck that those were not working well. Everything checked out fine. J.B. my salesperson even gave me the keys to his car so I could take it to the mall so I didn't have to wait. Did I also mention I'm thrilled with all the extra room in the garage after getting rid of the big old SUV? I have tons of space.
