Edmunds lists them individually on their pricing pages.

I just picked up my 2007 5 pass Limited with Puddle lights, wheel locks, all weather mats, retractable rear cover, rear bumper cover and day/night rear mirror for $30807 including delivery and their rip-off doc fee. Just tax and title added for a grand total of $32700. I did the entire deal over the net and the phone. Picked up the car with no hassles or added pressure. And so far after about 650 miles, I am enjoying a great car

Tribeca '07 7 Pass LTD SE by john155

Looking at a 2007 7 pass SE LTD with NAV and DVD. Received a quote of $36,500. The adds total about $2,200 (invoice not MSRP). If the invoice on the 7 pas LTD is $35,492 looks like with the adds the total invoice would be $37,700. I thought it looked like a good price and other dealers wouldn't match. But, I had heard that the invoice might have been reduced b/c of gas prices or something silly like that.

Any thoughts on price?

I think you might be able to find better invoice. I think $33,500-$34,100 is a good invoice for a 2007 LTD 7 Seater with DVD & Nav. Plus i think there is some cash back about $1250. You should be able to get out the door Tax & Lic for $37,700 fully loaded with all the add on goodies.

Your invoice price of $35,492 looks right to me based on the pricing on cars101.com. The SE package adds another $1100 invoice to put you around $36.6k.

Their offer of $1200 under invoice seems good to me... probably offering you nearly all of the factory-to-dealer incentive, leaving them with essentially just the holdback as profit.

I haven't heard of any change to the invoice price... if anything, Subaru would offer an additional incentive to the dealer rather than change the actual invoice price, I would think. Also, no rebates offered on '07 Tribecas yet, at least in my region.

Thanks for the sanity check. I just picked it up and got them to split the cost of a roof carrier ~$400. I'm happy with the deal and no one else the area would match it.

Drove the car for a few hours. Great on the curves. Love the Diamond Gray color and the toys. Only knock is second gear seems a little weak if not using the sport shift.

Way to go! Seems like many folks posting here prefer the driving dynamics of the sport shift mode.

I've heard/seen discussion about making a deal almost exclusively over the internet. How can I find a dealer who does that?

They pretty much all do it. Just go to the edmunds pricing page on the 'beca, and that's one way. There are quite a number of web sites that will send out a pricing request to all the dealers in the vicinity of your zip code, and they'll respond with their pricing on your selection of color and options.

The other way to do it is to go through www.carsdirect.com, which works in a different way. As best I can understand it, CarsDirect makes pre-arranged pricing deals with dealers, and then takes a percentage on top of that. So- my plan (a month from now when I buy my 'beca) is to essentially threaten (in a nice way) my local dealer that I'll go through CarsDirect- or let them give me the CarsDirect price directly- and then they won't need to pay the commission to CarsDirect. We'll see how this works in a month or so.
