I think he is not asking about the issue so much as the delay on the 5 LTDs. I wonder if its to change over to allow the 5 LTDs to be able to have NAV and DVD options now...

By taking the loaner, you're forcing them to be quick about it since they know you're putting more and more miles on the loaner everyday. Yeah, sales people always flavor certain facts in a way that serves their purpose so I get how you feel. But that's just a part of buying a car. So it seems that you've not signed/paid for the car yet. To make yourself feel better, you can always ask for some small accessory before you do sign and pay for the car. (keychain or all-season floor mats). Hey, if they take a while, you have time to really get to know the car and potentially change your mind and decide on a different car or options.
