Take the loaner, and don't underestimate the value of a loaner, that's worth a good $300 or more per week. I say take it and run. You'll keep the miles off your new car and have a free opportunity for an extended test drive.

Don't worry, be happy.

I agree with juice.....

Be glad they have offered a loaner.. Just like free money.. It isn't as though you are paying for the car, yet...

Or...it's as if you paid less than you did for your new car.

When you look at it that way, the longer they take, the better your deal becomes. The price just keeps dropping.

Pray for more delays. LOL

5 LTD delays by cluelesspa

I think he is not asking about the issue so much as the delay on the 5 LTDs. I wonder if its to change over to allow the 5 LTDs to be able to have NAV and DVD options now...

I agree. Take the loaner, and ask for a tribeca if they have one. Then drive it like you're renting it for free . Put as many miles as you feel like and test out the capabilities of the car (within reason of course).

I'd love it if they take some time to deliver the car. By taking the loaner, you're forcing them to be quick about it since they know you're putting more and more miles on the loaner everyday.

Yeah, sales people always flavor certain facts in a way that serves their purpose so I get how you feel. But that's just a part of buying a car.

So it seems that you've not signed/paid for the car yet. To make yourself feel better, you can always ask for some small accessory before you do sign and pay for the car. (keychain or all-season floor mats).

Hey, if they take a while, you have time to really get to know the car and potentially change your mind and decide on a different car or options.
