Thanks for your help! I have to turn in my '02 Audi (lease) on the 3rd so really coming down to the wire here. Maybe I should just buy out my lease? Replying to: ilovelabs (Aug 29, 2005 5:18 pm) Let begin by saying I am only an enlightend consumer ( thanks to Edmunds and folks on the Subaru boards, as you can see if you check the other boards we are a happy, helpful, friendly group).   I paid $31,838 for the 5 passanger Ltd. with the following options..ad miror, rear bumper cover, rear cargo net, puddle lights. cargo tray and crossbars. I will add splash guards for an extra charge ( dealer cost plus installation ). Also I received full TMV for my trade. I also got the tires for life (free) but I don't think that is a good deal since all maintence (including tire rotations) must be performed by the dealer.   As indicated earlier holdback really should not be factored into the price ...holdback plus processing fee allows the dealer to sell close to invoice (+ or -) make a profit and stay in business.   With the rain this week it may be a great time to make a deal.
