Replying to: backy (Feb 06, 2006 4:46 pm) In the issue I stated (April 2005, Annual Auto Issue, CR) Camry and Accord have NO black X's. Only red check marks since 1997. The next publication won't be out until April, 2006 which will include 2005 models. The year has to be over before they can publish year-end results.   The "too soon for fair comparison" is common sense. Anything looks good in the first couple years. Everone loves their new car. Look at the models that are in the red in 02,03,04, and start falling off as the vehicle gets older. Even Mercedes sucks. Hyundai has better ratings than they do.   It may very well be a great car. I just won't risk it until they have a longer and cleaner record.

You do realize that?   Plus it seems you're AOK with the cheaper things in life,   Lets say the less expensive things. I really don't like paying more for the same thing.   The Sonata is cheaper than an Accord EXV6, but nowhere near as refined.   I know one or two ex Accord owners that will disagree with that statement. Replying to: bobw3 (Feb 06, 2006 4:28 pm) I haven't looked at the Fusion and most likely will not. But I looked at the Milan and liked it. It would definitely be on the short list. I drove the 4 banger with the stick and it was a fun car to drive.
