So a 70-75K Cayman is what your looking at in most cases.   Considering you're going to pay full sticker for the Cayman for quite a while, it's not exactly a budget 911.

Hi all, I have a dilemma. I saw pics of the Cayman and the new BMW Z4 coupe. Now, I'm not going to push either to their limits so performance wise, they are both acceptable. I'd like to know which one you would prefer and why. More hp, braking, engine capacity etc don't really matter as either car will be driven in the northeast, to and from work and maybe over the weekends. Thhanks

I can't recall any car getting the great press this car is getting in every single magazine/review I read (maybe the E36 M3). Porsche definitely hit the nail on the head with this car. I love the styling! I can't wait to see the sheetmetal. That being said, I probably won't be able to afford a Cayman until the second generation base model comes out...I can still dream can't I?   Is the car going to be built at the same factory as the Boxster so they can play with production nunbers as demand increases for one product and decreases for another? AUTOWEEK Oct. 24 says the Cayman S "places high on our 'best drives ever' list." "Wonderfully balanced" "superior handling" "wonderful aural experience, greatly adding to the driving thrills."They also think Porsche is mistaken and that many potential 911 buyers will opt for the Cayman S.   Roadster is defined as an open automobile. My Cayman is a December build and February delivery. I had to fight for that as they were 13 people ahead of me.
