I don't think we are getting as good as mileage as you but we have a lot of short trips, not sure what your trips are but ours are pretty much 4-5 miles each way. I think that reduces your mpg. It does, absolutely. Your car uses extra fuel trying to get to optimum operating temperature (getting "warmed up, in other words"). That'll drop mileage by a noticeable margin.

The last two tanks I got 14.4 and 16.7 in city driving. My worst EVER on the '02 was 18.8. I ook mine in to Honda and they claimed to get 19.6. They must have been coasting down a 30 mile hill......
