Replying to: blufz1 (Mar 11, 2009 5:00 pm) finally broke the 40 MPG barrier between Gila Monster Bend and Yuma and then again between Gorman and Lodi.................it sure took a lot of odometer miles. (65k) This is a really decent auto. I want an MX-5 to fit when my old sailboat/trailer once slept...................but that will be strictly for around town..............the 6M for long distance (please note above) is hard to beat. 2200 rpm/6th gear/no ac/cruise equals pure linear efficiency (IMHO)....... all the best from our left coast, ez............
