Is it the OTD? Does it contain the $1500 dealer rebate?

A local dealer at my city offers $20,300 before TTL for a new 2009 Accord EX trim, and the OTD price is $22,300. How do you guys think? Is this a reasonable price? I also notice that they charge $600 document fee, is that way too high? Thanks for any suggestions!

I know this is apples to oranges but for our lease, our base price was 17,400 for a 2009 Accord LX.

I have an 06 Oddysey and we paid extra for the DVD and Navigation. Looking back, I will never get another car with Navigation and DVD built in, I will go to walmart and get one, I can update at any time. And for the DVD, I will get one for each kid.....lol

Is $288.00 a month a GOOD DEAL to LEASE A 2009 Accord LX-P.?
2009 LX-P ♦ 12,000 miles ♦ 1st payment down~ then 35 more
$288.00 (+ 10 free oil changes) and +$1150 cash back to me to pay off last 3 months on 2007 leased accord.
I will be moving right into another lease in 3 years so residual does not matter to me.
(or should it ?)
ANY answers appreciated.!

Yes you are very correct about the incentive they included while doing the paperwork. The guy did $1400 as "auto award incentive" $1000 for special rebate.

Just for all the bashers out here(who are very weak in negotiating and are in total denial mode about the price I got) anything under $21000 for an EX- Automatic is a "Good Price"....anything above that should be stamped with "over paid"

With just two emails and no hard negotiations got me the price I paid and my girlfriend still thinks I was dumb to take the deal.

People can do anything in ignorance, if you know too much you set artificial limits in your head. How much the dealer made on my car will always remain a mystery to me, and that is what I hate about this business. There is TOO MUCH swing in prices paid...just look at this board.

I still think I could have done better and if someone get and EX-Automatic for under $20500 OTD please post promptly...

I'm surprise that they put those incentives in your invoice. I think they usually just put the final sell price and a note "all incentives are included". From time to time, I heard people say that Honda tries to hide their incentives as much as they can. They want people to think that we get good deals on their cars even though there's no incentive.

It also helps the resale value b/c it makes people who buy used think that they get good deals as well (used car buyers think that new car buyers pay top $$ for the cars).
