Since the A3 isn't a "mature" line and everything on the 2006 is new globally, 2.0T, FSI, DSG, Open Sky, etc, etc I'm really thinking hard about a lease, I want one NOW, but I want to drop it off in 36 months and grab the 2.0T-Q w/ Bluetooth, DSG 2nd gen, tweaked turbo, S-Line or whatever else comes along. I kinda paid my dues on first model year release with the 98 Passat. (no offense to those that just purchased, I would LOVE to hear that there are no glitches in the next 2 or 3 years, will be all the more reason for me to own) Selling or taking trade-in is a pain for sucha short term...  My questions or search for comments is around leasing choices... Audi is not making the lease desirable, according to sales reps, it is intentionally, so I am seeking out any possibilities like 3rd party leasing agents, etc. Anyone else going through this?

a3 dsg xenons nav+sound sat lavagray/grey cold convenience sport opensky msrp=35285 paid 34000 Very pleasant experience - 30 mins discussion about price - provided a final offer - was called back in a few hours as they accepted after some further thought. Really glad they called.

Replying to: mcdonst1 (May 16, 2005 4:06 pm) DSG has been out for a while in Audi TTs and some Diesel cars (New Beetle). The 2.0TFSI has been out with the GTI for a bit over 1/2 a year or so in Europe. But I agree, that's not much, and first model years almost always have some glitches. Had some in my Passat 4Motion wagon (gas tank sensor, oxygen sensor, automatic seat memory), but it wasn't too bad. Would buy it again in a heartbeat Note that all the things you are worried about are covered under warranty. |

NJ Dealer told me the 3.2Q DSG can be pre-ordered in late July for Aug delivery at a starting price of ~$30,000 MSRP. Not sure what the standard features will be...i.e. will it come w/ leather?
