for the West, but the loss of the Skoda factory to the Western market was unfortuante I think. Skoda made some interesting cars and might have done okay in the USA. But who knows. Borgward had a great shot at becoming the BMW of America but they blew it, since Mr. Borgward was kind of a tyrant and thought he knew better than anyone how to do things. |
