I guess it was a Buick Electra 225 before the accident.
 
The parking lot photo looks like a tractor/trailer as an exhibit with a hidden walkwalk to observe the car after paying...?

There's continuity blunder. Notice how bad the paint is on the '66 Chevy Impala parked between the two Fords with its top down. This scene is obviously supposed to represent 1968 or '69 since the newest car is the yellow 1968 Impala H/T parked in the next row(to the right).
 
How'd the convertible get so beat up looking in a few years?

Thunderbird, hmmm...1975? When I was a little kid, my mother had one of that style, but white on white (!), 460, huge. My parents were fond of that car. I remember it fairly vividly for something had when I was young - I seem to recall ours had a wider body side molding than the pictured car.
