that, birds, stray trash blowing around, racoons, etc.

I would really consider putting some kind of screen on that snout.

The maroon car w the big snout is a Perana Z1, the body is by Zagato, the motor by Chevrolet (LS6) and the chassis by Perana of South Africa. I guess I like it better than most of you. It reminds me of specials like the Bizzarinni Strada and the Gordon-Keeble.

G'day

That looks gorgeous. I think it is French post war from the lines, but not sure of coach-builder or underlying chassis.

The shadow just below the top of the screen, makes me think it might be a Sedanca De Ville rather than a coupe or sedan body. However they pretty much disappeared before the second world war, so suspect it is a coach-built vehicle

Cheers

G'day

This has been niggling at me all afternoon. Sort of like a Chapron body, possibly on a Delahaye chassis. But I am not sure that is right.

There was also a gorgeous body on a Talbot Lago with approximately this shape to nose, but proportions look wrong.

Cheers

This is a Delahaye - probably a 235 - and the body looks really swoopy and curvy, so is the coachbuilder Sauchock (? spelling)?

You guys are on the ball, it is indeed a 1949 Delahaye 175 with a Sedan DeVille body by Saoutchik.

Saoutchik was probably the most flamboyant of the French coachbuilders that dominated auto styling during the 30s and 40s. Changes in French tax laws killed their business in the 50s and the Italians took over.

The pictured car went for $1.8 million Barret-Jackson last week.
