The Olds is actually a 1960 Super 88

I never have gotten a definitive answer on that.
The salesman I bought a few cars from starting in 1990, said it was a 292.
He was an old timer, so maybe he was right.

It could be either. The 292 was the 'Thunderbird V-8' and the 312 was the 'Thunderbird Special V-8'.
