I now see the maroon '63 Impala. I think (accent on 'think') I see a navy blue with white top '64 Chevelle Malibu convertible.

That's an interesting story on your dad's 58 Chevy.
I have a friend who, many years ago, drove his to a VW dealership, threw the car keys onto a salesman's desk, and while pointing to the Chevy said, "I don't know what you have on your lot but I'm not driving that thing home".

Second row from far right, sitting between a 60 Ford sedan (which is beside that Chevelle) and a 55 Chevy, is a blue 65 Impala. There's a lowline 64-65 Chevelle sedan to the right of the 55 Chevy too, red with a box on the roof.

A few cars down, to the right of a 58 Impala, is what looks like another 65 Impala, in red.

I see that small white car, kind of reminds me of an Anglia/Prefect 100E - but far too little detail to be certain.

I bet the small red car is an MG or Austin of some type.

You're right, that is a '65 Impala and that is a '65 Chevelle 300 or 300 Deluxe series--the '64 300 still had the same bright molding smack down the side as the Malibu did and the '65 (like this one) didn't.

Wow, Fin, you and your monitor are good! With regard to the red '65 Impala, I still can't pick it out. Where is it with respect to the red '59 Chevy in that row?

There's some kind of red semi-fastback looking car in the second to right row, almost directly behind the 59 Chevy in the middle of the far right row. The potential Impala is three cars over from the Chevelle with the box on its roof, next to what appears to be a light blue and white 58 Impala and what looks like a black 56 Ford Victoria.

OK, I see the one you are talking about. I never would have picked it out. Thanks, Fin.

So much for the old saw that old cars didn't last then. There are a lot of cars that are six, seven, or more years old in the photo, when conventional wisdom was that cars were 'used up' at five years back then.
