Replying to: andys120 (Nov 09, 2009 9:39 am) This Alvis had coachwork by a little known British company, Duncan Industries, who were based in Norfolk, I think in a former airfield, just after WW2. They built over 40 of these coupes on Alvis TA14 chassis, and a few similar ones on Healey chassis, plus a couple of odd ones for Bentley etc. They went out of business by about 1952, I think, at least as far as cars are concerned although they may have done a few truck bodies etc... |
