It's a 1974 Alfa Giulia Super/1600 (Euro spec), quite a neat little car, too>

Ah well close enough. Had the right time period and basic dash anyway. That's a RARE bird in the U.S. Most are now little piles of ferrous oxide blowin' in the wind.

I think that was the original title of the Kansas song.

"All we are is rust in the wind"....hey, a great tune for the new Fiat-Chrysler TV commercials...

Or, could be the motto on the New Jersey license plate. (changed from "1001 Mobs")

Sorry, I couldn't get in when I tried to reply a while back, and had a crisis here at work since so I lost the plot...

This Alvis had coachwork by a little known British company, Duncan Industries, who were based in Norfolk, I think in a former airfield, just after WW2. They built over 40 of these coupes on Alvis TA14 chassis, and a few similar ones on Healey chassis, plus a couple of odd ones for Bentley etc. They went out of business by about 1952, I think, at least as far as cars are concerned although they may have done a few truck bodies etc...

I recognize the steering wheel. Is it a 1962 or 1963 Buick Special or Skylark?

Maybe a Tempest of that era? The stick looks pretty flimsy for an 8 cylinder car, so I'm guessin' it's for a smaller engine.
