Thanks for the info.

I still remember when the V70 was an S60 wagon.

Yeah 2007 was the last year the V70 was just an S60 wagon with more rear seat room.

Also the last year you could get a real R car with a six speed manual, AWD and 300 horsepower.

The new T6 going in the 2011 Volvos is supposed to be boosted to 300 horsepower. If Volvo adds another 50 horsepower and a manual to the S60 to make another S60R that would be great.

Saab 9000 but can't tell the year. Probably a second generation model maybe a 1996?

Edit:

Just noticed it is RHD hmhh so maybe not a 9000. Did Vauxhuall rebadge the 9000 as something for the UK?

The first-generation 9000 was based on a platform shared with the Fiat Croma and Lancia Thema. I think this car is part of that generation, since it doesn't have the upward-sweeping window line of the later cars.

Behind it there seem to be a lot of other (newer) Saabs.

The rims a quirky, so it must be a Saab, but the headlights are generic, so it must not be a Saab.

I think you're correct, it's a match for a second-gen U.S. 9000 ('92-'98) I found, detail for detail, except for the RHD and the turnsignals are amber in the one I found. A British requirement for clear?

Yep its a second generation ('92-'98) Saab 9000i Saloon, (UK spec, equivalent to a US Spec 9000 CD IIRC.)
