should be arriving in late summer (production starts in early summer).
Too bad the side makes it look like a current Hyundai Elantra!

Not bad, but you know, almost every car I see these days has a 90sAudi roofline. I guess Audi never gets credit for creating a very durable styling motif.

I think that resemblance is fine, it's actually executed a little better here.
IMHO the XC60 looks better, but I bet this S60 will grow on me.

I just wish that '4-door coupe' fad would go away. I'd hate to sit in the back of that S60, by the looks of the roofline

Makes me wonder what the V70 will look like?

The V70 was redone in 2008 and won't be redone again anytime soon. The new V70 is really just a S80 wagon. The new S60 is using a cut down shortened version of the S80 platform. If they can make it drive like the XC60 just in sedan form it will be awesome. The XC60 is one of the best driving crossovers I have ever been in. Just enough power, just firm enough ride without being too harsh, I am looking at you X3, but not so wallowy that you feel like you are driving a couch or a RX350. Well those are the same thing really. Oh and awesome seats too.

The XC60 LOOKs great, but I'm afraid it fell short in alot of areas for me. For one, too darned heavy. Another is the very awkward driver's position in relation to the car. The extreme slope of the windshield and massive dash make it feel like I'm sitting in the middle of the car.
The S60 isn't quite as dramatic as the original concept, but still a step in the right direction for Volvo styling. Hopefully it won't be so obese (do we know yet?).

Nope, a bit earlier, it's a '76ish Celica, the 3/4 scale Mustang look-alike.
