Salvaging readable messages by bhill2

Since this problem of pictures causing the right margin of messages to be clipped off seems intractable, is there any way to request a different view so that an unreadable message that really looks interesting can actually be read? I would try hitting reply so that the message was redisplayed in the reference box, but the clipping removes the 'reply' link.

The "Reply" link usually doesn't get completely cut off for me. Try playing with your View > Zoom or whatever size option your browser uses (control > mouse wheel works for some people too). Zooming it down usually brings the buttons into view, but sometimes zooming up works better and gives you a bigger target.
 
Our software isn't sophisticated enough to automatically resize or block the big photos.

Another way around the problem is to click on "Last" for page selection at the bottom of the page, it moves the recent too-wide picture below all the stuff on the right, making the links clickable.

Right, but I don't think that works if the big pic is the last post... but y'all post so fast in here I rarely see that.
 
One of these years we'll get everyone trained. And then a software fix will finally come along the next day.

All the links on the right are cut off for me in Firefox 3.0.11.
I can reduce the size of the font, but the whole page shrinks with it,
the links are still missing due to the width of the pictures.

That's a Ford 1957 station wagon. Is it Country Squire on the side?
 
Deep red is a Studebaker, 1949 I'm thinking.
 
Then a Volkswagon.
 
The black car is an American Motors product. Rambler?
 
I can't tell anything about the blue car.

Reduced to 650 x 351 the whole picture now shows in IE 7 which I have.
 

 
Is the blue car nearest entrace a Henry J.
 
Then a black car.
 
Then another American Motors larger car.

It is a 57 Ford wagon, but not a Country Squire because there's no wood trim. Believe it's a Country Sedan.
