Replying to: andre1969 (Jan 16, 2009 10:05 am) The caption refers to it as a '64 Dodge 440 which is odd cuz the blurb sez it is powered by a 425 HP 426 CID Wedge motor which IIRC is a completely different motor from the 440.   Is the 426 Wedge the same as the legendary 426 Hemi?   I'm not sure that there was ever a Dodge badged "Super Stock" (which was an NHRA drag-racing class.   For those unfamiliar with the Beach Boys Classic, here are the lyrics to The Little Old Lady From Pasadena. Replying to: andys120 (Jan 16, 2009 3:41 pm) The 64 Dodge had models called the 330, 440, and 880. These numbers were not engine sizes. The 440 could be purchased with a 6 or 8 cyl engine.
