Notwithstanding the lack of palm trees I thought the location was Florida but it is indeed Wildwood Crest, New Jersey (Conca Dor Motel). I'm surprised there's not a single imported car in the shot, by 1962 Volkswagens and Triumphs etc were becoming common sights on the East Coast. |

Replying to: andys120 (Oct 19, 2008 11:15 am) Your lineup of the first row sounds right to me, but after the 1962 Plymouth is a 1957 Plymouth followed by a 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air (it has 4 lights, Impalas had 6) followed by a 1962 Oldsmobile sedan (I can't really see it). On the left side, the black one behind the 1958 Bel Air is a 1962 Ford Fairlane. I'll stop there... |
