Replying to: tmart (Sep 30, 2008 3:15 pm) Econoline was the name of the cargo van, and Club Wagon (or Station Bus) was the same vehicle, but with seats and windows. By 1969 both vehicles had moved beyond Falcon mechanicals and had sprouted a short hood in front.

Replying to: fintail (Sep 30, 2008 1:40 pm) According to the motorbase.com ad the correct name is Ford Econoline Falcon Club Van, it's a '66 but I doubt it looks much different from a '64.

Replying to: magnette (Oct 01, 2008 9:09 am) I'll take a wild guess, but the top one appears to be a British Ford Zodiac. Not sure of the year. I guess around 1960? The bottom one appears to be a Vauxhall Velox of around the same vintage 1960-61 or so. The Vauxhall seems to have a Ghia body if I'm correct about the crest on the tailgate. Replying to: lemko (Oct 01, 2008 9:13 am) Well done lemko and fintail, but the coachwork in both cases is different.   The Ford is a Zodiac Mk II, but the estate version was converted by Farnham, and this model was current from 1956/62 - although I think the estate was introduced later than the saloon.   The Vauxhall was a Velox, although it looks the same as a Cresta from this angle, and the estate was by Friary. This particular car was the facelifted Velox PA from late 1959/62, but the estate had been introduced earlier in 1959 for the original Velox/Cresta range.   Both of these cars, although conversions by outside coachbuilders, were available directly from the respective manufacturers and sold through their dealer network.
