Speaking of which... My friend with the '61 MGA Mark II brought it by last night... just had the body work re-done.. repainted... a ton of parts re-chromed.. He takes it apart and puts it all back together himself..

He has owned the car for 30 years.. this is his second total restoration..

A very cool car.... and, I agree.. He drives it.. He has been to MG get-togethers all over the country... No trailering...

I'd put up a photo of my friend's "mystery" MG but it's prewar and that's not in the rules, so......

You picked a good limb to climb out on, it is a '71 Barracuda.

Wow, a mid '70's Granada and in great shape. Haven't seen one of those in a long while, and most of those I had seen were being taken over by rust.

It was the LTD that was the 4 door, right?

Er, no, it's a '51 Kaiser Traveler but it was manufactured on the other side of the
water in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This is, I believe, a Lamborghini Espada?

Regarding Saab Turbos -- I have a friend who owns an '89 Saab Turbo ... bought it new, has all the shop manuals for it, only takes it out on perfect sunny days. Has probably less than 25K on it. He has another Saab (late 90's 900 4-door) for day to day errands.
