My bad. I was judging from the first picture posted, at which the front wheel axis looks much deeper than the front wheel flank.

But now I see the wheels are akin to those of the Lambo depicted above.
Nice thoroughbred bull that Miura, by the way. (Today has started the SanFermin Fest in Pamplona, where Miura bulls are legendary. )

Regards,
Jose

Could this be an early Volga from Russia (produced under the GAZ name I believe) circa 1960s.

I believe that car is the GaZ "Chaika" which is Russian for "sea gull." I also believe they still looked like a 1956 Packard through the early 1970s. There was a larger car similar to it called the ZIL 111.

Thanks for your time trying to find it!

I'm not even sure about what to do at this point with the insurance. I talked to my rep right away, and of course we would be paying the deductible then the balance of the claim would be 'our' collision experience... I was hoping that by determining what type of vehicle hit it, that I could narrow it down in the office and try to pursue that way, not sure if that would have worked anyway!!

At least you went to the right place - the participants in this discussion have seen just about everything, so it must be just too small a piece to jog our collective memory. Sorry.

is that an Aston Martin Lagonda?

Well sorta, it's a 1976 Lagonda V8 S1, basically a four-door version of thecontemporary A-M Vantage V8. The car badged as the Aston-Martin Lagonda came along about the same time but was so glitch-ridden that A-M decided not to use the Lagonda name for the current four-door Rapide.
