The front end says "Montverdi" to me, but I have no clue about the model.

Looks like the European Accord from the mid 90s, but there were some odd offshoot names for some models, I think. Pretty sure those are Russian plates.

The Opel GT would have been an unusual site in the UK then, as it was never imported and was only available LHD.
On the right the red car is a Fiat 850.
- and the van is a Ford ( Transit )

Yep, it's a Monteverdi High Speed 375L ca. '68-'77. Coachwork was by Fissore and power via Chrysler V8 (426 or 440), making the Monteverdis Italian-Swiss/American hybrids.

The Monteverdi High Speed 375 also came in four-door (375/4) and convertible (375S) form.

Interesting point about the Opel GT in the UK. There's no way for us Yanks to know where it was taken other than the slight preponderance of British makes unless we noticed the K-G is RHD.

I forgot about the Fiat 850, never very popular here. The Opel GT was common here in the '70s, it was sometimes called the "poor man's 'Vette". The Ford Transit is apparently ubiquitous on your side but most of us have never seen one.

link to Wikipedia entry: "Ford Transit".
