black car behind the Lotus looked like a Capri. Has Ford on the hood, so I guess the Ford Capri that we got as Mercury?

Yep that's a Ford Capri, they were only badged as Mercurys in North America but the blue car in front is NOT a Lotus. Surely some one can ID it, they were once quite popular.

Here's a shot of a later version (note upright headlights)=>

Yep, the blue car is a '67, the raised headlight car is a post '68 model with side markers and uncovered headlights to conform to new US regs.

Citroen Avant from the 1950s.

For me the chevron on the grill gave it away that it was a Citroen.

The car sure looks more like a 1930s car than 1950s.

It is a 1930s car, albeit a fairly advanced one (the first mass production FWDer) but it stayed in production thru the 50s. The correct name is Citroen Traction Avant and a 1954 model was shown, apparently these came in any color you wanted, as long as it was black.

Looks like a c.55 Pontiac, but there must be a catch

The Citroen was technically known as an 11 or 15...very old fashioned looking when it ceased production in something like 1957, but very modern for it's introduction in 1934/
