Is the car in the foreground a Triumph Herald? Must have been an odd sight then. Looks like a 61 Ford wagon beside it, and I am not completely sure about the car in the driveway...I want to say it is a 63 Plymouth or Dodge

The Herald, like a lot of oddball foreign cars might not have been an everyday sight in the early 60s but they weren't all that rare either. After all, first generation of Compact "import fighters" was launched by the Big 3 in 1960 to counter growing sales of cars like the Volkswagen Bug and Renault Dauphine. The sheer variety of different imports of various sizes and mechanical layouts available in the early-mid 1960's has never been matched before or since. I think of it as a Golden Age.

The MoPar is a '63 Plymouth Fury. I can't make out whether the Ford Wagon is a '61 or '62.

Too bad the early 60s were 30 years before I reached driving age. Coming of age when most kids were driving malaise era junk was no fun.

I am pretty sure the Ford is a 61. it has small ornaments on the tops of the fenders, I don't think a 62 had these.
