After all, first generation of Compact "import fighters" was launched by the Big 3 in 1960 to counter growing sales of cars like the Volkswagen Bug and Renault Dauphine. The sheer variety of different imports of various sizes and mechanical layouts available in the early-mid 1960's has never been matched before or since. I think of it as a Golden Age. The MoPar is a '63 Plymouth Fury. I can't make out whether the Ford Wagon is a '61 or '62.
