Well that's what the caption in the article I took it from sez but I believe it's mistaken. Mopars did not go to a single piece windshield until the 1953 MY, and if this shot of an Imperial Crown Limo is correctly labeled Imperials were no exception.

I believe it's a '53 or '54, can't tell which but I think it looks great..

Nope, I didn't look at "properties" before I answered. Somewhere in the back of my mind I had the notion that Chrysler (and Imperial) went to the one-piece windshield in 1952 while Dodges and Plymouths had a two-piecer until '53.

However, having now researched the 'Net I have discovered the error of my ways. The Chryslers (and Imperials) didn't get a one piece until 1953, according to brochures of those automobiles. So the photo has to be one of a 1953. I agree with you. The windshield is the "big" styling difference.

I dunno, the '53 IMO seems a whole order of magnitude sleeker and more commanding than the '52 which is kinda frumpy by comparison and has little to distinguish it from Plymouths of the same year.

That could be a Bentley Mk VI with a bespoke body of some sort (Mulliner or Gurney-Nutting?)

It's a Christmas decoration for a florist shop. Santa's sleigh!!! to delight the little ones. I had to wait to get a picture at night after the snow melted off the top to show the lights. Note Santa is in the last convertible with top down!!! All the cars have valid license plates from what I could tell. I am inferring they all run.
