Mopars did not go to a single piece windshield until the 1953 MY, and if this shot of an Imperial Crown Limo is correctly labeled Imperials were no exception. I believe it's a '53 or '54, can't tell which but I think it looks great..

The Chryslers (and Imperials) didn't get a one piece until 1953, according to brochures of those automobiles. So the photo has to be one of a 1953. I agree with you. The windshield is the "big" styling difference.

Replying to: urnews (Dec 14, 2007 11:54 am) I dunno, the '53 IMO seems a whole order of magnitude sleeker and more commanding than the '52 which is kinda frumpy by comparison and has little to distinguish it from Plymouths of the same year.
