Replying to: Mr_Shiftright (Dec 10, 2007 5:43 pm) In fact it's a GT-350 according to the caption, those used the 302 rather than the 428 Cobra Jet used in the GT-500 but 1968 was the first year for the convertible Shelby 'Stangs except for a half dozen or so in '66 (CS got one of them IIRC). Maybe it's a made-up car for the movies, dunno That's a distinct possibility IMO. There's something odd about that car that I just can't place, maybe it's the missing S-H-E-L-B-Y. |
