Replying to: nut854 (May 15, 2008 5:04 am) Their warrenty improves next year. ...hope they honor it. biodiesel is supposed to be more reliable...that's what i'm ...waiting, waiting waiting for. The salesmen asked me "why i hadn't bought their diesel when it was out years ago if thats what i wanted'" he doesn't get it . I didn't want that diesel...I want tier2 bin5 diesel.....night and day . All the vw salesmen seem to have little tech knowledge in all areas of the autos they sell. Makes me miss my Subaru Outback that I just sold.

000 051 446 C I guess I was wrong on the MDI's iPod cable. This only works on navigation models. Nav models have the MDI. |

Why is everyone wanting BioDiesel? Bio is a massive joke thats leading to food shortages and higher prices for everyone. I can see diesel but Bio??

Replying to: snapjack (Jun 06, 2008 2:04 pm) Also, E85 is difficult to transport and needs an extensive infrastructure before it should even be considered as a realistic alternative. Biodiesel can be made locally eliminating the cost and waste involved in fuel transportation. Joke huh? Hmm, maybe you should reconsider that statement?

Replying to: cdoescher01 (Jun 07, 2008 10:33 am) "Many advocates suggest that waste vegetable oil is the best source of oil to produce biodiesel, but since the available supply is drastically less than the amount of petroleum-based fuel that is burned for transportation and home heating in the world, this local solution does not scale well." |
