Replying to: mbzr350 (Sep 26, 2006 11:39 am) The second floor console came as an option with the car. It sits on top of the DVD player, and snaps into a bracket mounted to the floor of the car. I am not sure how much that option costs...I think the website listes all options and their costs.

Replying to: gtli (Sep 26, 2006 8:08 pm) Yes they do, but I always have to double check because I have found that sometimes it is not all the way clicked in when their little hands do the snap. Because the second row seat is folded down to the floor, I use it sometimes as a "bench" to sit on as I strap them in or get them set up with video, etc.

Does anyone have any details on the R 320 CDI? Do you go with the diesel or the R350? Will the R320 CDI get a fuel tax credit, but only after Jan 1? How about the gas/diesel mileage versus the R 350?

All the roads in my part of Mass. are two lane, twisty and crowded so I have to drive at night with my low beams only. The low beam on my R only shines out about 25-30 ft which isn't sufficient lighting for the 35-40 mph limit. I asked the dealer to raise the low beams and they say that they are not adjustable. There is no adjustment possible. I can't imaging a $50,000 car with no headlight adjustment. My $25,000 Subaru has adjustments, why can't M-B do it??
