It's a shame when a dealership treats owners this way. In St. Louis The Dean Team is such a dealer. They sold me a service plan on my 02 XG350L which I found was nothing more than oil changes. I got a refund on that and took my service business to Suntrup Hyundai from that point forward. They treated me well and I purchased my 06 Azera Limited with the Ultimate Package for approximately one thousand dollars less than the Costco dealer here. Funny thing was Suntrup didn't have the color I wanted. They wound up getting the color I wanted from the Costco dealer who had added paint sealant, pin stripes, door edge molding and wheel well moldings, all for no additional charge. I believe in telling people about good dealers and Suntrup is the place to go in St. Louis.

RE: 3693
To show that there are two sides to the coin, I bought my Azera from Suntrup but they quoted $100 to program the Limp Home feature. Dean Team said $45. I took it to St. Charles Hyundai who programmed both the auto door lock feature as well as the Limp Home with no charge! They only asked that I return to them if I need service.
I take my "Clunker" to Dean Team only because they are much closer to home than the other two. (Suntrup sold me the car from Dean Team.... Crazy World.)

Sometimes...you have to be willing to travel for good service. It's really sad when you think about it, but that's the nature of the beast!

Two items that the participants in this discussion have not apparently been truthful about!!! First, adapting 07 audio controls to an '06 (from our friend in Florida). Second, installing Xenon headlite bulbs without rewiring.. Both items are not available according to the Hyundai dealership..
I have asked repeatably for specific Brand names, suppliers, model numbers and the blogger making the claim disappears into the sunset... Hope you people enjoy creating non-existing situations.. VJK

RE: 3696
I can't believe your posting. Either you are ignorant, crude or both. To insinuate that participants in this or other forums lie or deliberately post misinformation is preposterous.
Dealerships NEVER condone the alteration of the original product for liability reasons.
However many aftermarket products are supplied by a vast number of manufacturers to enhance the looks and performance of most vehicles produced today.
While many of us may disagree with the views of other forum members, we attempt to express our disagreement in a much more civilized and friendly manner.

If you "mouse-over" a poster's handle, you can open a window which displays the poster's 10 most recent posts. I've done so for "vjk6666" and (having nothing better to do this afternoon ) I believe I've found answers to at least the "audio controls" questions in the thread(s) concerned, more notably in threads named: "Hyundai Azera Audio System," and "Hyundai Azera Accessories," most specifically from about post #304, which lists a supplier for the audio control, if your dealer doesn't have a clue.

If I looked further, I think I'd find at least the beginnings of a progression of information for any other questions which have already been asked, as well...emphasis: look further...

VJK, you obviously don't look back. I responded to your post about xenon bulbs without rewiring. It was my mistake in saying they were xenon bulbs to begin with. They are halogens, but they have some xenon gas in them. At any rate, I only did a swap out of my bulbs. I also posted the bulb type for both low & high beams.

As far as the audio controls...you must be ignorant. There are just too many postings in the correct forums (either Azera Accessories or Azera Stereo).

The dealership can provide you with an '07 steering wheel control, however...it would prove more pocket friendly to visit one of the online sites that have been posted where you can get it for almost half the price a dealer would sell it to you.

Anyone happen to know where I might pick up one or two damaged or salvaged Azera trunk lid tail lights? I want to do some experimenting with the LEDs.
