Could you run any gasser hybrid on anything more than E10 reliably without modifying any mechanical part in the engine? 2. Will a gasser hybrid maintain the same level of FE if the amount of ethanol in gasoline increases significantly(40 -60%)? 3. Since the majority of commuting in this country is more highway like than city like, diesel is king for that type of driving whereas hybrid is king for inner city stop and go driving. Add to this that this is a "Diesel" forum, why would hybrids even be part of the discussion? There are many of us here who have not dismissed hybrids but do see them as part of the solution to dependence to foreign oil. A good number of the posters here just happen to prefer diesel over hybrids, plain and simple.
