It looks bland. People who buy this car won't use the performance. Sure bragging rights is nice, but good luck catching the $70,000 Nissan GTR. Now, its supposed to cost at least $200,000! What does this car really have to offer???? I doubt this car will have the curb appeal of a Ferrari... I just don't care anymore. Toyota used to be a highly respected performance car company, but not anymore. I seriously doubt they still have the capability to produce a good sports car. They seriously have no soul... did they sell it to the devil or what? Makes sense since they do dominate the auto industry... |

Let's see. The LFA has a top speed in excess of 200 mph and holds the record lap time at Nurbring. The 0 - 60 is to be below 3.5. So, top speed is higher than the GTR, 0 - 60 about the same. As to curb appeal, have you seen this car? It is flat out beautiful! Beyond that, the car is focused at an entirely different market segment than the GTR -- people who want cars that are fast, beautiful and exclusive not fast, ugly and in the price range of 25% the population. I am on the top of the list for the LFA here in cowtown and I will be trading in my Aston Martin, not a Supra. As to buying a Ferrari, they are a maintenance nightmare and the dealer markups over list are astronomical. The LFA looks to be a supercar without these problems .

Replying to: kansashick (May 21, 2008 1:38 pm) Lexus makes great cars. Reliable, durable, great built quality, electronics, The only thing it doesn't make good is SUVs to compete with the likes of x5 x6 cayenne. |
