Looking at the history gm has not put money on the hood nor has zero percent financing now. They shut down janesville and I believe that there is not that many suburbans in inventory hence the 1000 dollar rebate and no zero percent.   These are interesting times, 08's are bringing strong money used. Replying to: bwalukonis (May 08, 2009 5:19 pm) Thanks for both replies   That is interesting. Obviously I don't know how much they "make" gross when they sell a Suburban .... But I would think they would rather sell 10 and make 2k each than sell 1 and make 10K. But I'm sure I'm not as smart as the guys running GM .... after all .... they make millions a year while losing billions a month ... they are definitely smarter than I am.

I am looking to buy a new LT2/LTZ for an upcoming trip in mid July. The dealers here iowa, are quoting invoice -1k with no financing deal. I remember 10-13K off at this time of year in years past, or 7-8K w/0%. In light of GM's situation, is anyone seeing anything better out there or am I going to have to look at Sequoia? What have people seen out there lately? Thanks for the help!

Hi, We have been looking to buy a Suburban LT2 for the past few months, but the deals just don't seem that good given the fact of the GM situation. Do you think rebates will increase? When is the best time to buy for the best bottom line price? We want leather and middle row buckets, but don't care about all the other options.

Any recent purchases? Incentives are good, but I'm finding it hard to get a sense for how much they will deal. Any help would be appreciated?
